We are a small but friendly photographic society initially formed in the nineteen sixties as part of the Bispham Community Association. Originally meeting in room at the old Tram Depot on Redbank Road (now the Sainsbury site) we moved to our present location when the new Community Centre opened in 1974.
Meeting on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm we cater for all aspects of photography and digital imaging for beginners to the more advanced worker. Our syllabus covers internal and external competitions, projects, portfolios, studios, practical and outside events and audio-visual evenings. Interspersed with these are member’s nights and external guest lecturers.
We are affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain through our membership of the Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union.
If you have an interest in photography and digital imaging why not come along on any Thursday evening to see what we do and maybe join our group. New members are always made very welcome.
At Present all meetings of the Society have been suspended in accordance with the requirements of the Coronovirus Pandemic
